The CAS Graduate Student Orientation for newly admitted students will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2012, from 2:00-5:00 PM, followed by a reception at Ned Devine's in Faneuil Hall at 5:30pm. Orientation check-in will take place beginning at 1:45 PM in the lobby of the Donahue Building, located at 41 Temple Street. 

This will be an opportunity to meet graduate program directors, deans, and other administrators.  We will discuss a number of important University policies and procedures and answer any questions you may have about campus resources and services for graduate students. This is also a time for you to connect with other new students in your program and representatives from the Graduate Student Association. 

This program is mandatory and does not take the place of any program-specific or International orientations you may also be asked to attend. International students are required to attend both the College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Orientation on August 30 and the International Student Orientation on Aug 31.  Both days are required and must be registered for separately. (You should have received a separate mailing if you are required to attend the International Student Orientation on the 31st.)

Please bring a photo ID, a copy of your fall registration, and your Suffolk identification number to obtain a student ID card.
